So You Wanna Be A Rock Star

In the film "So You Wanna Be A Rock Star", students embark on a journey of creativity and self-discovery as they journey from a classroom, into a recording studio, to performing live on stage. This entertaining 55-minute film is designed to inspire and motivate young people in the joys of original music creation, as seen through the eyes of the ten young Brisbane artists featured in the film.

The film prides itself on containing all totally original music, created entirely by the students. Useful tips about songwriting and performance, music business strategies and planning for the self-promoting artist make this a must-see film for the budding rock star.

Today, with major record labels becoming fewer and fewer and internet usage becoming more and more widespread, young up-and-coming artists are now finding it possible to break into the music scene by becoming self-managed artists.

This film is dedicated to the young artists of Australia – to keep following their dreams.
